Director Selvaraghavan has left last night (Feb 1) to Brazil for a recce trip with cameraman Ramiji (see pic), art director Kiran and assistant directors for location hunting.
Irandam Ulagam which is 40 percent complete in Hyderabad will now have its next schedule in Goa followed by a month-long shoot in to Rio de Janeiro and few unseen locations of Brazilian countryside and forests.
A source close to PVP cinemas confirms the news and adds that the plans to shoot the film in Canada backfired due to some issues.
The film has Arya and Anushka in the lead and a 30-day schedule is expected to take place in Brazil and it will be the first-ever Tamil movie to be shot there.
Irandam Ulagam is turning out to be one of the biggies of 2012 and producers PVP cinemas is gung-ho about the project.
Now we will have to wait and watch if the lead pair will shake a leg on Copacabana and other Rio beaches, a popular international tourist destination?
