There has been considerable speculation that Anushka will be appearing the Tamil and Telugu version of The Dirty Picture which saw Vidya Balan play a character inspired by Silk Smita.
So far nothing has materialized on this front and the rumors have petered out. Now the rumor mills have started up again.
Apparently, Anushka has been approached for a remake of Kahaani which is Vidya Balan’s latest hit film.
It is about a pregnant woman who is searching for her missing husband. It is a powerful role and Vidya Balan was praised to the skies for her gutsy performance.
