Anjana Sukhani is upset with Ram Gopal Varma

Anjana Sukhani has been making more news for her ire against Ram Gopal Verma than for her films. The latest is that the actress is miffed with the filmmaker for promoting the movie’s item girl Nathalia Kaur more enthusiastically than her. RGV also allegedly ditched Anjana for Manisha Koirala in his “Bhoot” sequel.
An upset Anjana says, “No doubt, it’s Ramu sir’s film and he has to take the final call on how he wants to promote the film. But, I’m also a part of the film… playing Rana Daggubati’s wife. So, why discard me from the publicity drive? I have no problem with Nathalia Kaur being publicised as she adds glamour to the film, but I’m upset with RGV for keeping me away from the promotional activities.
Anjana goes on to add, “And if he thought Manisha fits the bill better in “Bhoot 2″ and is more apt for the role, it’s totally his call. I have no issues with that.”Anjana’s tryst with controversy doesn’t end there. There was a buzz sometime back that the actress is dating actor Rana as they were both seen hanging out together.
Rubbishing the rumours she says, “There’s no truth in it and I’m not dating Rana. Just because you go out with somebody doesn’t mean that you are going around with that person. He has his life and I have mine too. I don’t wanna comment about this anymore.”
On the movie front, word was out that the actress whose last Tollywood outing was “Don Seenu” opposite Ravi Teja will star in the movie’s Hindi remake. Anjana however, says, “I have no clue. I know that the remake rights of the film have been bought, but nothing beyond that.
The actress recently admitted that she’s still struggling in Bollywood. Quiz her if same is the case down South and she says, “Don’t you always struggle to do better? Yes, I do agree with the fact that I’m constantly struggling as a person, whether it’s for work or relationships.
I’m happy with what I’m doing because it’s what I always wanted to do. But I’m not satisfied. There are lots of things you want to do and I always wanted to do bigger, better and solo leads with big banners. So, there’s a lot to achieve. Down South, I have done a few good films and I had a great time. I would love to do more if anything good comes my way.
For now, she is looking forward to her Bollywood releases – Kabeer Kaushik’s “Maximum” and Priyadarshan’s comedy flick, “Kamal Dhamaal Malamaal”. “Though it’s only a special appearance in “Maximum”,
I’m still excited about it. I’m also looking forward to my item song in “Kamal Dhamaal Malamaal”. There are a couple of other offers in Bollywood, but I can’t talk about it right now. I’m just going to wait and let things happen,” says Anjana.
