Vidya Balan’s ‘Kahani’, the recent super hit Bollywood film, is been planned for a remake in Tamil and Telugu. South top star Anushka is now seriously considered to be cast in the role that Vidya Balan did in the original.
Anushka recently watched the film and was totally impressed by the role that Vidya Balan did. It is said that a leading production house from the south has bought the remake rights of the film and planning to approach Anushka for the role. It is learnt that Sneha was earlier considered by the makers of the remake and now Anushka is seriously pursued.
‘Kahani’ tells the story of a pregnant lady who comes to Kolkata from UK in search of her missing husband.
Anushka is currently doing ‘Irandam Ulagam’ with Arya in the lead and Selvaraghavan directing it. She is also playing in Vikram’s ‘Thaandavam’ that is directed by Vijay and ‘Alex Pandian’ with Karthi doing the protagonist and Suraaj directing it. Apart from these films the actress is also doing few Telugu projects now.
