Shriya was last seen in Kollywood in Rowthiram opposite Jiiva. When everyone thought she is done and dusted, she has rosen like a phoenix bird from the ashes.
She has her hands full now. Says Shriya, 'I am working on a bunch of movies that includes a Kannada movie titled Chandra with director Roopa Iyer in which I will be portraying the role of a princess - it’s a true narrative about the love story that envelopes her'.
'Apart from that, I have a Telugu film. As for an exclusive Tamil flick, I am not working on any right now.'
She adds, 'right now, I am busy working on veteran director Deepa Mehta’s Midnight’s Children, a movie based on Salman Rushdie’s Booker Prize winning novel, which is due for release around October.'
