When his film ‘Aahaa’ released, it was appreciated by many for its cuteness and feel-good factor. And now, director Suresh Krissna hopes to recreate the same magic on the small screen as well with his upcoming teleserial, titled ‘Aahaa’.
“The story was written to be made into a film,” reveals Suresh, who has directed superhit films like ‘Annamalai’ and ‘Baasha’, “However, when a TV channel approached me with an offer to make it for the small screen, it came across as a good idea as there is a big audience for this medium as well. Also, most of the serials are tear-jerkers and ‘Aahaa’ will be different as it will have loads of humour and be made like a film.”
The serial, which revolves around a joint family, will have songs as well! “They’ve been tuned by Karthik Raja,” he adds, “I hope this subject clicks on the small screen!”
