Samantha is on cloud nine, as the actress is bagging the projects with top notch directors in the film industry like Gautham Menon, Mani Ratnam et al. This lucky mascot is touted to play the female lead in director Venkat Prabhu’s forthcoming movie.
Venkat Prabhu’s directorial is titled as ‘Biriyani’ with a caption ‘A Venkat Prabhu’s Diet’. Karthi will be playing the lead in Biriyani that is being produced by KE Gnanavelraja on Studio Green Films banner. Yuvan Shankar Raja will be composing music tunes and BGM for Biriyani that has Sakthi Saravanan’s cinematography, Stunt by Silva and editing will be handled by Praveen KL among the technical crew.
Karthi and Samantha are busy with their current commitments and so Biriyani will kick start from this August. Samantha is looking forward to release her Telugu/ Tamil bilingual graphical Extravaganza ‘Naan Ee’ directed by Rajamouli with Nani and Sudeep in the lead roles. Meanwhile Karthi is all set to release his debutant Shankar Dayal directed Saguni with Praneetha and Santhanam, which will be simultaneously released in Telugu as Shakuni on 6th of July.
