Vanakkam Chennai has been through the censors and has come out with a clean ‘U’. Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi, will be making her debut as director with this film and it has been produced by her husband Udhayanidhi Stalin under his banner Red Giant Movies.

Vanakkam Chennai stars Shiva and Priya Anand as the lead pair and Anirudh has scored the music for this romantic-comedy entertainer. It has now been confirmed that the film will hit the screens on October 11th as announced earlier.
