The Diwali 2013 (Nov 2) race has begun in full earnest. Three films – Ajith's Arrambam, Karthi's All in All Azhaguraja and Vishal's Pandiya Nadu are getting ready for a festival of lights release.
The most important Diwali release is going to be Ajith's Arrambam directed by Vishnuvardhan, which is trying for an October 31 release. The re-recording of the film is over and DI work is going on. Almost all areas have been sold out and theatres are keen on getting the film which is sure to take an amazing opening.
All in All Azhaguraja directed by hit maker Rajesh M, had its audio release today (Oct 10). The morning newspapers had a theatre listing for various areas. The film is being marketed directly by Studio Green. The film is also in the last stages of post-production, and should release on Diwali day (Nov 2).
The third film in the Diwali release is Vishal's Suseenthiran directed Pandiya Nadu. The last song has just been completed in Pollachi. The audio launch of the film which has music by D Imman will take place on Sunday (Oct 13). The film marketed by Vendhar Films is hitting the screens on Diwali day.
