Music director GV Prakash is all set to act as a hero in a film called 'Pencil'. Pencil is said to be a thriller with all necessary elements of a new age filmmaking and GV Prakash is said to be playing a school student in the film.

Now, GV Prakash is to incarnate as actor. Reports are abuzz that GV Prakash is to do movie produced by AR Murugadoss.
Since the movie schedules are getting delayed, he has signed up for movie ‘Pencil’ directed by Mani Nagaraj. Mani Nagaraj was a former assistant to Gautham Menon. Apart from acting GV Prakash will also be composing music for the film and Priya Anand has been roped in as the female lead.
GV Prakash does a +2 student in the movie. Director Mani has said that the role would perfectly suit GV Prakash.
GV Prakash has conveyed that the shooting for movie ‘Pencil’ is to commence during the next month, and that he is to score music also for the movie.
Also, it is to be noted that director Mani is a close friend of GV Prakash.
