The satellite rights of Vijay and Surya films have been acquired for a higher price than Ajith’s film. Majority of film producers will not divulge with the business details.
Producer K E Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green has given the details of the four actors’ satellite rights of their films. Sun TV has acquired the satellite rights of Karthi starrers Biryani and All In All Azhagu Raja at a cost of Rs 11 ½ Crores respectively.
Vijay starrer Thalaivaa which encountered numerous problems has been acquired by Sun TV at a cost of Rs 15 Crores. The film Veeram which has Ajith in the lead role and Surya’s untitled film is also been acquired by Sun Pictures for a whooping price. Shooting of these film is yet to be completed.
