Soon after completing his Shankar-directed Ai, ‘chiyaan’ Vikram is to star in another commercial venture titled as Rascal which would be directed by Dharani, the director who made the super-hit ventures such as Dil and Dhool earlier with Vikram. Hottie Hansika has been paired opposite Vikram in the film, much to Trisha’s resentment.
Trisha, who has Boologam and Endrendrum Punnagai opposite ‘Jayam’ Ravi and Jiiva respectively, was badly hoping to get Dharani’s Rascal opposite Vikram but was shocked to know that Hansika has been cast as the heroine. Trisha, who had played Vikram’s heroine in films such as Saamy and Bheema, was hoping to make a hat-trick of films with by bagging Rascal.
Dharani hunted for a suitable heroine opposite Vikram for a long time before deciding to cast Hansika. Trisha, who shares a warm relationship with Vikram and has even appeared along with him in a few commercials, was hoping that Vikram would favour her as the heroine in his latest film. When it didn’t happen, Trisha obviously felt crest-fallen and disappointed.
Trisha reportedly spoke to Vikram and blasted him off for neglecting her. As if that wasn’t enough, her mother too spoke to him expressing her displeasure.
