Popular VJ, Ramya, is set to tie the knot with Chennai-based auditor, Ajith Jayaraman, in February. She says, “My parents were looking for a suitable guy for me for quite sometime. When we came across Ajith’s profile, we were very impressed. I always wanted to settle in Chennai and I really cannot think of leaving my city. Though Ajith has studied in London, he is very much a Chennai boy. I am getting to know about him only after my engagement. I think we have good wavelength though we have different interests in life.” She adds, “I find him a typical samathu guy.” She says, “I am planning to work behind the scenes in films and television after my marriage. But, my fiance wants me to continue hosting shows on TV as I am doing well in it. I am yet to take a call on it. I feel happy that I will continue to be in the buzz of Chennai even after my marriage.”
