Naan Sigappu Manithan, which is gearing up for release on April 11th, 2014, is currently into the last leg of the post production stages. The film is due to be censored very soon and we hear that the censor board officials may require the much-hyped lip-lock scene to be removed from the film to award it with a ‘U’ certificate. This lip-lock scene between Lakshmi Menon and Vishal is considered to be the USP of Naan Sigappu Manithan and it is doubtful if the filmmakers would have it removed. However, with the U certificate being mandatory for the 30 percent entertainment tax exemption, the filmmakers might oblige and go ahead with the cut, say sources.
