After grabbing the attention of audiences with her sparkling performance in 'Vaagai Sooda Vaa', actress Iniya has now bagged leading lady role in Bharathiraja's upcoming directorial 'Annakodiyum Kodiveeranum' replacing Priyamani.
Iniya will once again be seen as a village girl in Annakodiyum Kodiveeranum that Parthipan in the lead. Parthipan is essaying dual role as a father and son. The movie will be shot in rural areas in Southern Tamil Nadu. Though Priyamani was considered for the role earlier, she has opted out of the film due to her other commitments in Telugu and Kannada film industries. So, Bharathiraja has roped in Iniya after watching her sterling performance in 'Vaagai Sooda Vaa'
The regular shoot will commence in Theni from the end of October. GV Prakash is composing the music.
