Director Vasanthabalan directed upcoming film ‘Aravaan’ saw its audio release function recently where many prominent film personalities from Tamil cinema took part. Ace director Mani Ratnam, A R Rahman, K. Balachander, Cheran, Mysskin, Vetrimaran, Sarathkumar were some of the big names who were present in the function.
Speaking at the occasion director Mani Ratnam admired the visuals and music of the film ‘Aravaan’ and said, “I’m really amazed watching the visuals of the film. I understand how much effort Vasanthabalan and his people have put for this film. I can tell you that in Indian film industry Tamil industry is the most exciting and happening industry with full of talents and skills. I’m proud to be a part of this industry”.
‘Aravaan’, inspired from the story of Su. Venkatesan’s novel ‘Kaavalkottam’, features Aadhi, Pasupathy, Dhansika, Archana Kavi in lead roles and Bharat and Anjali doing the guest appearance. This period film is produced by T. Siva’s Amma Creations. Singer Karthik is debuting as a music director in this film.
