‘Kochadaiyaan’ is the big movie that superstar Rajinikanth is all set to do as his next film. As things are falling in as desired by the makers of the film the issue of committing an actress for the female lead is still being seriously worked out with many top south and Bollywood actresses are kept under consideration for the film.
The latest on the above issue is that south star-turned-Bollywood actress Asin and the recently released Hindi film ‘The Dirty Picture’ star Vidya Balan are being seriously considered for the female lead of the film. As the makers are looking for a Bollywood actress or a star who has an appeal across the country it is likely that either of these actresses would be roped in for the film!
Anushka Shetty is also being approached for the role but the actress is in a position unable to accept the offer as she has already been committed with other films. Sneha has been roped in for the role of Rajini’s sister in the film that tells the story of the 7th Century Pandya King Kochadaiyaan Rana Dheeran. The film is directed by Rajini’s second daughter Soundarya Rajinikanth and written by director K S Ravikumar. The film will go on floors in early next year and would see its release in August 2012.
