London: Oscar-winning actress Kate Winslet and her boyfriend Ned RocknRoll have reportedly been invited back to Richard Branson’s Necker Island just months after she saved his grandmother from a blazing inferno there.
The Virgin tycoon has asked the ‘Titanic’ star and Ned, who is Branson’s nephew, if they would like to spend Christmas and New Year on his USD 60 million private island, a website reported.
“Richard’s invited her and the kids back to thank her for her bravery in saving his mother,” a source said. Branson is currently fixing the house ahead of the wedding of his daughter Holly, who was also in the Great House when the fire swept through the property, later this month.
Winslet, 36, who was holidaying with her children, Mia, 11, and seven-year-old Joe, heroically carried the businessman’s 90-year-old mother Eve out of the mansion, which was destroyed in the blaze.
