Prashanth starrer Mambattiyan is all set for release across the globe on 16 December with over 700 prints. Directed by his father Thyagarajan, the movie features Meera Jasmine opposite Prashanth.
It is a remake of yesteryear flick titled the same. Interestingly, Thyagarajan played the lead role in the original. Mambattiyann was Robinhood like gangster who lived in hilly terrain of rural Tamilnadu.
Prashanth said, 'the movie has everything to attract audience. I am upbeat that all has come good. All credit should go to the whole crew. Mambattiyan will be a movie to reckon with in my career'.
Close on the heels of Mambattiyan, Prashanth has agreed to do movies for a couple of big banner which would directed by noted filmmakers.
