The copyright case against director Shankar will come up for hearing at the court on December 9th.
Thamizhnadan, an author, had alleged that Endhiran, directed by Shankar and produced by Kalanidhi Maran is a film based on his story Jookiba, published in 1996.
When the court ordered Kalanidhi Maran and Shankar to appear before the court to counter this allegation, they sought a stay order. Thamizhnadan applied for vacating the stay and this has now been done.
The magistrate had ordered Kalanidhi Maran and Shankar to appear before the court on December 9th. Will Shankar and Kalanidhi Maran make it this time?
