Ilayaraja’s daughter Bhavatharini is planning to conduct a grand Music World Tour to celebrate the 25-year completion of the composition of her fathers’s music album ‘How To Name It’.
She has already brought in violinists Ganesh and Kumaresh for the tour and planning to rope in more musicians and big personalities to make the tour a grand event. She has also invited suggestions from Raja fans and from her brothers – Karthik Raja and Yuvan – and cousins Venkat Prabhu and Premgi Amaren.
The music album ‘How To Name It’ was composed by Ilayaraja as a tribute to the inspirations of world renowned composers Bach and Thiagarajar. The album was a huge hit world over and inspired him making come with another album ‘Nothing But Wind’! These albums took ‘Isaignani’ from films to world music.
Ilayaraja is now composing the music more Gautham Menon’s trilingual ‘Neethane Enponvasantham’.
