Ajith plays a Sri Lankan Tamil refugee in 'Billa 2'.
His character David comes from Sri Lanka as refugee and lands in Thoothukudi.
It happens that David (Ajith) encounters a local goon and stops his atrocities defeating him. This makes him the hero of the masses.
'Billa 2' is a prequel to 2007 'Billa' and in the latest film Ajith comes with younger look. 'Billa 2' is in the verge of completion and likely to get released in
April end or May first week. The audio of the film is expected to be released this month end.
Parvathy Omanakuttan, Bruna Abdullah, Vidyut Jamwal, Prabhu and Rahman do prominent roles in the film.
The film had its shoot in Chennai, Pondicherry, Goa, Eastern European countries and Russia. Chakri Toleti has directed the film and Yuvan Shankar Raja has scored the music. R D Rajesekar has handled the camera and the film is produced by Wide Angle Creations and IN Entertainment.
