Vidya Balan starrer ‘Kahaani’ which is directed by Sujoy Ghish had seen a decent opening day at the box office.
The bulk of collections for the film are come from Mumbai, Delhi/UP, East Punjab, West Bengal and Mysore. ‘Kahaani’ is approximately collected Rs. 2.95 crore nett in its opening day (Friday).

In its Thursday preview show the film has collected Rs. 88 lakhs and including Thursday preview and Friday collection the film has collected Rs. 3.83 crore nett at the Indian box office.
