‘Kochadaiyaan’ in Japanese?

The latest news about the much touted superstar film ‘Kochadaiyaan’ is that the makers are now planning to release the film in Japanese also and works are to start now!

Rajinikanth has a good fan following in Japan after the success of his ‘Muthu Odoru Maharaja’ (Dancing Maharaja), the Japanese dubbed version of Tamil film ‘Muthu’ in Japan. The actor has also been including some Japanese touch in many of his later movies. ‘Baba’ had a Japanese character and ‘Kuselan’ had a Japanese group of fans visiting superstar in the film. 

The film is already been made in four languages – Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and English – and planned to release all over the world, with record number of prints that any Tamil cinema had not seen. Now, with the plans to release it in Japanese also the film is going to be one of the very few films from India that is reaching maximum number of audience in a single film.

The shoot of the film is all set to start in London later this week and Rajinikanth is flying to the British capital soon as the crew is already there preparing for the shoot.

‘Kochadaiyaan’ has Rajinikanth, Sarathkumar, Deepika Padukone, Shobana, Jackie Shroff, Aadhi and Rukmini in prominent roles and the film is directed by Rajini’s daughter Soundarya R Ashwin and music is by A R Rahman.
