Actress Thara Choudhury, who was seen in films like Rakshakudu, Love Ticket and Priyasaki, has been arrested by the Banjara Hills police.
A complaint was lodged by a wannabe actress that Thara had forced her into prostitution with a promise that she will get an opportunity to star in films.
The wannbe actress said that she escaped from Thara's clutches and rushed to the police station. Based on her complaint the police arrested Thara and seized a laptop, 8 mobile phones, a box full of condoms, 21 sim cards among other things. A secret diary and a photo taken with the late chief minister YS Rajasekara Reddy were also seized by the police. Police sources add that Thara had been supplying women to various political leaders and film personalities.
