Grapevine is abuzz that Bong beauty Rani Mukerji has signed filmmaker Tigmanshu Dhulia’s upcoming movie touted to be a biopic on Begum Samru. In the meantime, Dhulia admits that he is unaware of the development as he reveals, ‘I don’t know whether she has given nod to my project or not. She hasn’t called me yet. I have read the news that she has signed the film and if that’s true I would like to contact her as soon as possible’.
Dhulia even revealed that he has penned down the script of his biopic five years back and one actor he had in his minds for the role was Rani. Dhulia claims that he had approached Rani before the making of lately released biopic ‘Paan Singh Tomar’. The filmmaker has also asserted that he would even alter few changes in the script he had written before five years.
