Meenavan is an upcoming film based on the life of fisherman's. Their dark life as moneylenders and also a love story midst of them is what the film going to offer.
The film is said to be on the lines of Padagotti, Meenava Nanban and this film will portray the struggles faced by fishermen.
It is the dubbed version of the Four National Award winning Telugu film Gangaputrulu and it has been titled as Meenavan in Tamil.
Ramki, Thanmai, Jeeva, Subburaj play the lead roles. Music is by Babu James and the film is directed by Suneel Kumar under the banner Sri Lakshmi Bhavani Films.
Meenavan is slated to release onf the second week of May.
