Skoda India To Sponsor Aamir’s Satyamev Jayate

Skoda India has signed up as the official partner of Bollywood actor Aamir Khan’s debut television show Satyamev Jayate. By signing the deal, Skoda India aims to
connect with its target customers across the country.
The show which will be telecast on Star from May 6 and be aired across multiple channels on the Star network will reach out to over 40 lakh viewers across the nation.
Skoda India is eyeing to break out in to local markets and gain sales which they expect the association with Satyamev Jayate would bring.
Skoda India Marketing Head Kamal Basu said: “Skoda India is extremely proud to be associated with Satyamev Jayate, a show that will connect with the Indian audience not just due to its content, but also its contemporary relevance.
Having spent a decade in India, we felt that this association has come at the right time for the brand and will further strengthen Skoda’s values in the minds of our target audience.
We expect this partnership to be effective and successful due to Aamir Khan’s powerful first time presence on TV and Star’s network strength (the channel network on which the show will air).
This is not the first time Skoda India is associating with a program in India. Recently, the Czech carmaker had sponsored one of India’s prestigious beauty pageants, Pantaloons Femina Miss India (PFMI) 2012 and gifted cars to the winners.
