Vijay for his next flick Thuppakki, touted to be an action film, is said to have tried his hand in cinematography too, apart from singing and performing slick action.
A source says that for one of the scenes in the film, the actor insistedthat he crank the camera. This shot was canned in a busy, commercial street in Mumbai, and the actor wielded the camera as cinematographer
Santosh Sivan was adjusting the lights. The scene has panned out well, the source ads, clarifying that it is not known yet if that will be retained in the film.
In an effort to showcase his singing skill, the actor has crooned a peppy song for the film too. Directed by A R Murugadoss, Thuppakki was filmed in Mumbai.
