One of the leading heroines of South cinema, Anushka has been approached to play the lead role in Kahaani south remake. Kahaani is a super successful Hindi film starring Vidya Balan. It was a thriller which was received well by the audience.
Plans are on to remake it in Telugu and Tamil. The makers are thinking of roping in a star heroine who could do justice to the role as well as pull crowds to the film. Anushka is their first choice heroine and she is yet to give the positive nod.
Anushka is currently busy with four Tamil projects and two in Telugu. So she will have to adjust her dates to give way for Kahaani. Whoever bags this role should be considered lucky as heroines rarely get this type of author backed roles these days.
