Pooja was recently in the news after she was roped in by Bala for his forthcoming film, tentatively titled ‘Paradesi’. But the ‘Attagasam’ and ‘Jay Jay’ actress is no more part of the project, and she has been replaced by Dhansika.
With Atharva and Vedhika playing the lead pair, the film set in the backdrop of fishing hamlets was taking shape in southern Tamil Nadu, when reports popped up that Pooja had been picked by Bala for a crucial role.
However, the actress now says, “I could not act in Bala’s movie due to call-sheet problems. I am leaving for Australia for another movie.” Meanwhile, it is said Dhansika is thrilled about bagging a role in Bala’s film.
“Only recently Dhansika won appreciations for her beautiful performance in Vasanthabalan’s period film Aravaan. Now she has been roped in by a director who is known for bringing out the best from actors. She is on cloud nine,” say sources.
