Billa 2, Ajith Kumar’s most anticipated movie has come out very well says the movie makers and the post production works of the movie are going in full swing.
Sources say the movie makers are preparing to release the movie on June 8th. Even if, it is not possible to release on the above date, it would not be pushed more than a week. Once the movie gets its censor certificate, the release date will be officially announced.
Earlier to the movie release the trailer launch of the film is also planned. Aascar Ravichandran, has attained the distribution rights for a record sum of Rs 26.05 crore. He is planning to release the movie trailer on June 1st, on a grand function.
The old digital trailer that was released earlier saw an enormous hit among Thala fans and it went viral on the networking pages. Now, a latest trailer is being made in Mumbai with the help of trailer specialists. It is also planned to be released in a grand manner. Aascar Ravichandran has also plans of starting the promotional campaign during the last week of May.
Billa 2 features Ajith Kumar, Bruna Abdullah and Parvathy Omanakuttan in the lead roles. The movie has Sudhanshu Pandey and Vidyut Jamwal as antagonists. All of these actors make their first appearance in Tamil cinema. The shooting took place mainly at Hyderabad, Goa and Georgia.
Billa 2 is a prequel movie to Billa. Chakri Toleti has directed the movie. R.D. Chandrasekhar holds the camera, Suresh Urs does the editing and Na. Muthukumar has written the lyrics. Music is scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
Billa 2’s audio was directly released in the market on May 1st, which marked Ajith’s birthday. The Telugu music release of the movie is planned on May 26th, 2012.
