Chinni Krishna wins award from Nepal Prez

Chinni Krishna, the script-writer who shot to fame with Indra, has been recognized with a Indo-Nepal unity award for penning films set in the backdrop of the Himalayas, the majestic mountain ranges that occupy a significant place in the Indian culture.
The award was conferred by the Nepalese President on the recommendation of two eminent people (names not revealed by Chinni Krishna), who like his movies.  Speaking to the media, the writer has described the award as a feather in his cap and also attributed his success to K Raghavendra Rao and VV Vinayak.
“Without them, Gangotri and Badrinath would not have been possible,” he averred.He also revealed that he has written a story for Chiranjeevi’s 150th film.  “I narrated the story to someone.  In this competitive world, it may be difficult to achieve the end,” he noted.
