Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s upcoming film Ferrari Ki Sawari, directed by debutante Rajesh Mapuskar, which is due for release on June 15 has reportedly made a decent profit already. It has already earned Rs.65 crores and reportedly the film was made with a budget of less than Rs 30 crores.
It is learnt that collectively, the film’s theatrical, satellite, music and home video rights have been sold for a whopping Rs. 65 crores. However, the biggest chunk comes from the sale of the theatrical rights, which alone have been sold to Eros for Rs. 42 crores, while the rest includes satellite, DVDs and music rights.
The film stars Sharman Joshi, Boman Irani and Nilesh Divekar. Music has been composed by Pritam.VV Chopra’s last film 3 idiots has created box office history by getting worldwide collections of Rs 240 Crores.
