Bandi Saroj Kumar, who made back-to-back thrillers with 'Porkalam' and 'Asthamanam', is banking on a romantic subject this time!
The maverick director, who is the specialist of dark-thrillers, recently, through a social networking site,
let his fans to decide which subject he should do as his next, a thriller again or a romantic subject. In response, the fans voted for the romantic script and the director has now decided to take up the romantic track as his next.
"I was in a bit dilemma which one to do – a romantic or a thriller again, but my fans wanted me to do a romantic subject this time and I'm starting a new subject as my third film," says the director.
The new film will start its shoot in June after finalizing the cast and crew. "This is not just another romantic film. I'm going to present a different romance that the Tamil film audience has never ever seen," adds the director, who learnt film techniques from renowned director Ram Gopal Varma.
His earlier two films were just average grossers at box-office but they were critically acclaimed and widely appreciated by the ordinary filmgoers for the director's novel way of filming and storytelling.
