The release of ace Tollywood filmmaker SS Rajamouli’s bilingual venture ‘Naan Ee’ has been delayed due to extended computer graphics works.
The movie was originally slated to hit the screens on May 30 but has now been pushed to June 8. The film starring Nani, Samantha and Kananda actor Sudeep in lead roles is being made simultaneously in Telugu as ‘Eega’.
“For every film enthusiast out there who has been waiting for Eega (Naan Ee), I apologize as we are not releasing on 30th of this month. I know it is disappointing. I am disappointed myself. We underestimated the amount of time for computer graphics. I am extremely happy with the quality of computer graphics for the shots we received so far,” says SS Rajamouli.
He added: “I want to ensure the same quality is maintained for the rest. Everyone is working 24/7 to get the film out as soon as possible.” A socio-fantasy flick, ‘Naan Ee’ is a mix of comedy, romance and revenge. It is produced by PVP Cinema.
