Nagarjuna movie ‘Dhamarukam‘ has hit a controversy, as reported by Aaranv Movies by Young , talented and upcoming Directors Naveen Kalyan and Promod Kumar. that they are the owners of the title ‘Damarukam’ and they have already finished 50% of the movie shooting and they are planning for the Audio release is a grand way.
The Directors said that they are shocked and hurt deeply after learning that their dream movie project ‘Damarukam’ tile was stolen.
The original movie directed by Naveen Kalyan and Promod Kumar is based on social awareness and the title was registered with AP Film Chamber of Commerce on 22nd Feburary 2008, but due to some unavoidable reasons the shooting could not be completed in time and the title registration was renewed till 25th Feburary 2010.
After 50% of the shooting was completed Director Naveen Kalyan met with an unfortunate accident and had to take 6 months bed rest and shooting had come to a standstill. during this time the title has expired , the Financiers of the movie came to know that a new movie with Nagarjuna was registered with the same title by Venkat of RR Movie Makers. as the initial title has expired and no renewal was done.
Naveen Kalyan and Promod Kumar have approached the Court but per the direction of the court as the spelling of the title are different both the titles are valid.
Nagarjuna’s Dhamarukam movie has almost wrapped up the shooting part with Varanasi schedule. Nag’s Dhamarukam is said to be a socio-fantasy entertainer and one of the biggest budget movies in Nagarjuna’s career.Nagarjuna will be seen playing multiple getups in the movie while one among the roles an Auto driver.
Touted to be a hair rising Visual Effects treat, this movie is heard from years but still not making any noise. ‘Damarakum’, the socio-fantasy movie that has Nagarjuna in the lead is undergoing a bad-phase, say insiders.
Directed by Srinivasa Reddy and Produced by Venkat under RR Movie Makers banner, Damarukam can be called as yet another experimental flick from Nag’s Career as the actor would be seen this time uttering words in Godavari slang.
Anushka is romancing Nagarjuna in the film while Abhimanyu Singh and Prakash Raj will be seen in key roles of the film. Devi Sri Prasad is scoring the music.
