There were reports in a section of press that Ajith had called on director Selvah, who made Amaravathy long before featuring him in the lead role.
The report quoted as Ajith saying that he wanted him to do the Tamil remake of yestyear remake of Ninaithalae Inaikkum.
The movie featured Kamal and Rajnikanth in key roles. There were rumours that Vijay might reprise the role enacted by Rajnikanth in the original.
However Selvah had denied them as rumours. He said, 'there is no iota of truth that I met Ajith. Its been long time that we met.'
'It is funny how people’s imaginations run wild', he added.
