After all the chaos, actor Shahid Kapoor has finally made up his mind to feature in South filmmaker Linguswamy’s Hindi remake of his own Tamil flick ‘Vettai’. Initially, Shahid was not keen on doing the remake film as he was unable to understand the script of the film which was narrated to him in Tamil.
Shahid suggested Linguswamy to hire a Hindi dialogue writer to translate the script. Eventually, Linguswamy mutually decided with the film’s producers UTV to rope in lyricist Prasoon Joshi to write the Hindi dialogues for the film. Since now everything has fallen on right place, Shahid is also keen to start shooting for the film. Grapevine is abuzz that Shahid would be romancing South star Ileana D’Cruz in the upcoming remake flick. In the meantime, Pakistani singer turned actor Ali Zafar would be essaying parallel lead in the film with Shahid. The film would hit the floors in the first week of May at Hyderabad Ramoji Film City.
