Director Kamal Kannan's Madhubaana Kadai is all complete and ready for release. Meaning liquor shop in English, the movie has aroused the curiosity of all.
Says the director, ' I don't drink, but many of my friends do. Not many realise the agony a teetotaller undergoes while having to stay with alcoholics. This compelled me to make the film.
The film has no story as such. It is based on events happening in an arrack shop and the characters there.'
The director also disclosed that the crew had made a promo for the film using stills shot in the wine shops across the State.
