Simbu has released his Vaalu one-minute teaser on the net yesterday (June 6). The teaser is a rocker and has Santhanam once again playing STR`s best friend along with VTV Ganesh and Hansika as his lady love.
Vaalu teaser has caught the imagination of the youth due to the punch line in the teaser. Hansika, fresh in the mind of the audiences after her smart one-liners in OKOK, tells Simbu:”Oru sila pasangala paaka paaka thaan pudikum, aana, una maari pasangala paatha odane pudichudum”.
(We like some guys only after we meet them often, but when it comes to men like you, on the very first meeting people will like you).
Suddenly this Hansika dialogue has become an instant hit. It reminds the viewers of Dhanush`s Padikathavan dialogue where he tells Tamannaah “Ena maari pasangala paatha odone pudikadhu, paaka paaka thaan pudikum” (You will not like guys like me when you meet us for the first time, but once you get to know me you will like me).
It is sure to kick off a major controversy and also inflame the STR-Dhanush feud which has been lying dormant for months. Anyway it is going to give a lot of publicity for Vaalu, which is getting ready for release this Diwali.
