Manivannan passes away

Veteran actor and director Manivannan passed away today due to heart attack. He has directed 50 films and the last one was the recently released ‘Nagaraja Cholan MA MLA’. The movie is the sequel to the cult clasic ‘Amaidhi Padai’ and Sathyaraj played the lead roles in both the films. Manivannan has acted in over 400 films and he has done a variety of roles including that of a comedian, character artist, villain etc. The news come as a shock to the entire film fraternity and they have been pouring their condolence messages.
