Two of the Dhanush's films Mariyaan and Raanjhnaa are set for a release on same day on June 21. Raanjhnaa is his Hindi debut film directed by Anand L Rai casting Sonam Kapoor as the female lead is set for a release on 21st June initially. Now, surprisingly, Bharat Bala directed Mariyaan is also scheduled for same day release on June 21. Mariyaan, a romantic thriller produced by Aascar Ravichandran is waiting for censor certification. He has released a press statement informing that the film will have worldwide release on June 21 and it'll be biggest release for Dhanush till date. With cinematography by Marc and musical scores by AR Rahman, Mariyaan was shot in the locales of Sudan. Parvathi played the leading lady. The bookings for Mariyaan in Tamil Nadu were open.
