Mohanlal to join Vetrimaran sets

Malayalam Super Star Mohanlal who has been busy with the shooting schedules of Nesan's Tamil-Malayalam bilingual Jilla with Ilayathalapathy Vijay as his co-star, will soon reach the big-screens with the film Vetrimaran. Vetrimaran directed by Major Ravi has nothing to do with filmmaker Vetrimaran while the story is based on the kidnapping mafia for the sake of money. The film is the dubbed version of Malayalam film Karmayodha which has Tamil actress Sona playing a prominent role. Mohanlal played an encounter cop in the film who lives in Mumbai but his daughter gets kidnapped. The Malayalam version didn’t do good business at the Box-Office but the craze for Mohanlal among the Tamil audiences made them dub Karmayodha to Tamil.
