Potugadu is Kannada film Govindayanamaha remake

Actor Manchu Manoj informed that Potugadu film is the remake of Govindayanamaha, a successful film in Kannada. The makers have made necessary changes to the script to suit the Telugu audiences taste but the film retains 75% of the content from the original version. Pavan Wadeyar is the director of Potugadu. He had directed the original version too, and the film is being produced by Sirisha and Lagadapati Sridhar under Ramalakshmi Creations banner. Achu is the music director of the film and the audio is scheduled for a launch in July. Except for two songs, the film’s shoot schedules have been wrapped up and recently, the makers released a video song Pyar Mein Padioya Re.. from the film. Potugadu casts Simran Mundi, Nathalia Kaur and Sakshi as the leading ladies.
