Mani Ratnam’s star status in the tinsel town has been on a downslide ever since Raavanan and Kadal failed miserably at the box office. The veteran director is now working on his next and is planning it in such a way that this one turns out to be sure-fire success.
According to some sources close to the director, this film will be based on the Indo-Pak divide. Yet another interesting thing we hear is that Mani Ratnam is planning to sign up a star kid to play the lead role. He is reportedly in talks with a top star in the film industry to have his son debut as hero through this flick. It is also said that Mani Ratnam is finding it tough to get producers for this venture as two of previous venture did not do well at the box office.
