Makers of Thala 55 has held the official pooja for the film as per muhurtham today [Apr 9] at producer AM Ratnam's Shridi Sai Baba temple in Valasaravakkam.
Thala Ajith's 55th film in the direction of Gautham Menon has created huge hype among the fans. #Thala55 tag is trending in Twitter and few of Ajith fans have released few posters wishing all the best to Ajith, Gautham Menon and their team.
Anushka will be pairing opposite Ajith in this stylish action entertainer that casts Arvind Swamy, Arun Vijay as the antagonists for Thala. AM Ratnam will be producing this untitled Ajith-Gautham Menon film under Sri Surya Movies banner.
Thala 55 filmmakers also announced that the shooting of the movie will start on 11th of April and are expected to announce the complete cast and crew details soon.
