Vijay felt happy and proud to meet Namo. "I'm happy that a great leader like Guruji Narendra Modi invited an ordinary person like me for a meeting. Modi expressed his desire to meet me when he was in Chennai, but it didn't happen as I was shooting for Kaththi in Hyderabad".
“After his Chennai visit, Narendra Modi wished to meet me in Coimbatore. It was a non political meet and we purely discussed about cinema. I felt proud when Modi discussed about my 21 years of film career and growth.” , Vijay said.
