Henry Cavill will be given a heroic send-off in season 3, according to the Witcher showrunner.

Liam Hemsworth will take over as Geralt of Rivia from Henry Cavill in The Witcher, as had been previously stated. Henry Cavill's final participation in the dark fantasy series was guaranteed for season 3, but the showrunner has now shared her plans for the following season.

Lauren Hissrich recently stated in an interview with Entertainment Weekly that they are preparing a "Heroic send-off for Henry Cavill. We wish to correctly honour Henry's contributions because he has done so much to the programme.

Hissrich responded, "What is so amazing is that season 3 is to me, the closest thing that we've done as a one-to-one adaptation of the books, when asked what she found most exciting about the upcoming season "she claims. "We obviously can't cover every page, but Time of Contempt provided us with a tonne of major action sequences, plot twists, character-defining moments, and enormous bad guy revelations. Since there is so much to do, we were able to adhere really strictly to the books.

Although it was widely believed that Henry Cavill was quitting The Witcher because of his obligations with the DC cinematic universe, which ultimately failed, there were also rumours that Cavill, a huge admirer of The Witcher novels, was upset that the series adaption was not true to the books.
