In Chennai recently to release the music and promos of his much awaited film, RA.One, in Tamil, Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan landed himself into a spot trouble when he casually used the word 'dumb' to refer to people suffering from speech impairment.
While promoting his film in Chennai, SRK said that he is willing to act in Tamil movies provided he plays a 'dumb' character as he doesn't know the language. The usage of the word 'dumb' was met with criticism from the audience and a differently-abled girl took objection to it, asking Khan to apologise.
Being the sport that he is Shah Rukh not only apologised, but also asked her to correct him. He asked her to tell him the right word to be used, to which the girl replied that he could use the word 'mute'.
Post event, Khan paid a visit to mega star Rajinikanth, who has a cameo in RA.One, and spent about fifteen minutes with him.
